  1. these seem like the buildings you either love or hate.. I've never liked them! forgive my ignorance but they look tacky to me. the colors and irregularity of pattern..

  2. hahah stephen, I love your honesty! well, I'd say that the building would be tacky too, if it were built today. This building, however, was built in 1500's and I think it's pretty good considering that it was built before the industrial revolution at a country where it's freezing cold 8 out of 12 months of the year.

    The rumor has it that the architect who designed this building was blinded so that he would never be able to create building this beautiful ever again. Pretty interesting (& brutal) no?

    Jennifer - I was there in... 2006 I was it? I' m actually not too sure haha. I hate the damn country b/c the people are too mean. There are lots of things to see though.
