my goodness. I just discovered the youtube downloader (and there are plenty of other programs). Why didn't it occur to me earlier that you can simply download the stupid digital videos from youtube and convert them into mp3s? Now I can listen to my favorite artists in my car, instead of just watching them in youtube. Gees, I'm so stupid...

For those of you who don't understand what I'm talking about:

This wonderful song is by written and performed by Hiromi Uehara. As you can see, this is a live performance, and as you can hear, the genre is jazz - which means - every performance is unique because jazz musicians rely heavily on improvisation. So even if I buy the album, this song will not be exactly the same - in fact, they will be quite different. But now that I can convert this video into an mp3, I can enjoy both versions in my car.
