and while I wait for pictures to upload in Picasa (I upload them and copy the html afterwards), I would like to rant about why I don't like to take landscape pictures. I lied last time. I don't think it's because I'm mediocre, I think it's because landscapes require a lot of patience.
You see, if you want to take good landscape pictures, you must wait for good light to come, which is around sunset and sun rise. So you must either wake up at 5am (which is what I had to do to take some of the pictures here), or wait for the sun to set. If the conditions aren't right (the clouds aren't there, too much clouds, too much haze, rain, etc.) then you gotta forget about taking the picture and come back when the condition is better. All that seems like a waste of time, especially because I'm not exactly interested in staring at landscapes, especially rocks.
You know what, it's actually not patience or my mediocre skills. I just don't like landscapes period. Granted, there are some landscapes pictures that I do like, but I happen to like snapshots much better, that is all. You gotta take pictures of what you love. I don't love landscapes - therefore I don't like taking pictures of them.

and by the way, I think pictures on blogspot look so much better than facebook.
